Product details
Anna Henkel-Grönemeyer (March 9, 1953, in Hamburg; November 5, 1998, in London) was a German actress. She lived with singer and actor Herbert Grönemeyer from 1978, whom she married in 1993. The two met during the filming of the movie "Uns reicht das nicht." They had two children together. The highlight of her acting career was the film "1900," in which she appeared alongside Robert De Niro, Gérard Depardieu, and Donald Sutherland. In "Io sono mia," she starred for the first time with her film mother from "1900," Stefania Sandrelli, as well as Maria Schneider and Michele Placido. Anna Henkel-Grönemeyer, to whom her husband dedicated the song "Anna" on the album "Total egal" (1982), passed away from breast cancer in 1998. Four years later, Herbert Grönemeyer dedicated the song "Der Weg" to her on the album "Mensch" (2002).
