New media play a central role in the social pedagogy discussion. Various connections between media and social pedagogy can be considered in relation to aspects of growing up in modern societies. The presentation 'Social Work and Media' addresses four additional contexts: media in education, media representation of social pedagogy in the public sphere, media in the context of social pedagogical issues, and media in the practical and organizational work processes of social work.
