Teamwork and social competence are fundamental values that emergency responders from fire departments and other aid organizations should embody. Unfortunately, these competencies can no longer be assumed as a natural outcome of educational and socialization processes. They also play a rather subordinate role in training and further education. This book serves as a support for leaders of fire departments and other aid organizations to successfully convey the values of teamwork and social competence within their own teams.
