The small village of Goldthal on the Swabian Jura is turned upside down: An excavation site divides the community. When the lead archaeologist is found dead and none other than the mayor comes under suspicion of murder, crime-loving librarian Dora Fuchs wants to restore calm among the frenzied villagers – and solve the case. However, the local police see Dora's ambitions as a thorn in their side, and she faces more obstacles than she would like.
