Flying Plaza. Work Journal

Product details
In recent years, the Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno has gained international recognition with his vision of Cloud Cities - flying, walkable, quasi-habitable structures. Flying Plaza presents a conceptually significant series of works that utilize wind power and sunlight for flying and floating. This active form of flying spatial structures raises new questions about the relationship between humans and nature, the cosmos, and weather, addressing essential themes of human existence in the Anthropocene. The publication not only showcases the body of work but also presents the artistic practice in Saraceno's studio in the form of a working journal: the projects are in continuous development, within a dynamic evolutionary process of realization. Never finished, but also never merely a draft.
