It begins with a refusal: The sausages of truth that are being served to us are no longer something we want to eat, as stated in the programmatic speech for the Impossible Theater by Wolfram Lotz from 2010. Since then, the playwright, born in 1981 in the Black Forest, has laid out a lavish alternative buffet. In his monologues, for example, a Somali diplomat-pirate defends himself in front of the Hamburg District Court, stating that for simplicity's sake, he speaks German with you; a certain Thilo Sarrazin wants to define the anus as the true genital; and Mother Lotz worries about her stuttering Wolfi. Monologe is the first book by Wolfram Lotz and also the first in a new series.
