This book combines classic physics problems from mechanics and thermodynamics with two innovative task formats that physics students can solve using a PC, tablet, or smartphone. In video tasks, recordings of physical experiments are provided, which can be processed using analysis programs. Mobile video analysis tasks can be solved by readers by recording and evaluating their own physics experiments according to instructions using a tablet or smartphone. Through these tasks, physics students discover the close interplay between theory and experiment by engaging in concrete and diverse physical practices, such as comparing predictions and measurements, explaining observations and measurement results, forming and testing hypotheses, as well as qualitative reasoning and interpreting data.
