Angel Coulby, born on August 30, 1980, in London, is an English theater, film, and television actress. Her first television role was in the British sitcom "Orrible." She became well-known in both the UK and Germany, particularly for her role as Gwen in the BBC family series "Merlin." Angel Coulby grew up in the Finsbury Park area of London. After deciding to pursue acting, she moved to Edinburgh and studied drama at Queen Margaret University. She is friends with actors Bradley James and Colin Morgan.
