Alice Matheson is a competent and attractive nurse who could have easily worked as a doctor - she has the qualities for it. However, she prefers to use her talents - intelligence, calculation, and determination - in secret to pursue her true passion: she is a "Angel of Death," a cold-blooded killer who seeks her victims among the terminally ill at St. Mary's Hospital in London.
