First published between 1989 and 1994, this was the first collaboration between the surrealist mastermind Alejandro Jodorowsky and artist Georges Bess. Later, "Juan Solo" (also from Splitter) would follow. In this monumental masterpiece, Jodorowsky portrays Tibet as a "place of magic and spirituality," and with each page, "The White Lama" evolves into an almost intoxicating experience.
