Why use so many words? The life of the little man has probably been following the same routine for decades. He gets up in the middle of the night, gets ready while his good-natured but strict wife prepares breakfast for him, and then he heads out to sea, as he is a Breton and thus a fisherman. A charming mix of slapstick and deep emotions, skillfully caricatured by Grégory Panaccione in a style reminiscent of the classic cartoons by Bruno Bozzetto. And even though there is a lot of talking at times, not a single word is spoken in Wilfrid Lupano's wonderful love story. Here, it is solely the gesture that matters...
