Medicine and language - few areas are as closely intertwined as these two. Speaking in medicine and discussing medicine have always been significant for people. This anthology provides a broad overview of the interests, perspectives, and approaches of various disciplines and institutions regarding the field of language and communication in a medical context. It focuses on questions of the effectiveness and healing power of language, as well as literary and linguistic historical aspects, and ethical-moral issues and challenges.
