Living together based on significant cultural differences is still regarded today not only as potentially highly attractive but also as a particular kind of challenge. Cultural difference represents fascination as well as fears, abjections, and other negative emotions, or various difficulties in concrete intercultural practice. This applies to communication, cooperation, and coexistence in both private and professional spheres. The care of different needy groups falls into this second area. Ms. Böcek-Schleking dedicates her highly interesting master's thesis to intercultural training designed within the framework of the new nursing education or, more accurately, designed and intended for implementation. In doing so, she contributes not only to the reflection and further development of existing concepts and the application of established theories and terms but also develops her own training based on solid theoretical foundations and methodological expertise, which is precisely tailored to the requirements in the mentioned field of nursing practice.
