Product details

The primary task of the chemical-technical glass industry is to provide science and technology with high-quality tools. The general scientific principle states that the demands on these devices should only be pushed as far as required by the accuracy of the method for which they are intended. Setting higher demands is a waste that we can no longer afford today. For measuring instruments, two accuracy levels must be standardized, and it is up to the consumer to choose which of the two corresponds to the accuracy of their method. An example is the standardization of wide-neck and narrow-neck flasks. The wide-neck measuring flask corresponds to the accuracy of burettes and is therefore sufficient for titrimetric methods. The narrow-neck measuring flask is intended for gravimetric analyses, for which the highest possible measurement accuracy is required.
