Product details

Volker Schrank focuses his study on Dave Ulrich's model for the operational function of human resources. The emphasis of the work is on the goals and tasks of HR work, the organizational form and structure, as well as the employees in human resources. The primary aim is to investigate whether there are fundamental obstacles in Germany that hinder the success of this model. The author first develops a theoretical foundation for the model based on current research in Strategic Human Resources Management and the internal market, and compares the Ulrich model with commonly used HR models in Germany. Based on this, he formulates hypotheses that are evaluated and discussed in the empirical part of the work.
