Product details

This study examines the extent to which the observable process of structural economic change in the industrial nation of Germany towards a post-industrial society contributes its own explanatory value to the social science debate surrounding the destabilization of employment in the German labor market. Based on the findings of this study, it becomes clear that developments in both directions (destabilization and increased stability) are conceivable and observable in the German labor market. However, the social security and societal integration of employees in so-called marginal employment is becoming increasingly important.
