It is certain that the seemingly most trivial and common issues of medical everyday life often contain the deepest insights that are overlooked. This is true for headaches, which, as a subjective symptom—even during the era of psychosomatic medicine—are generally more easily accepted by doctors than by patients. In particular, their manifestations are not always sufficiently researched and examined for their significance.
