The Big Bang is the modern version of the creation story, a topic that has fascinated humanity since its inception. Mysticism has been replaced by science as a source of inspiration for the beginning of the universe. The purpose of my book is to describe, in an understandable way, the scientific approaches that seek to explain the origin of the structures in our world. The scale of these structures ranges from planets and stars to galaxies, large galaxy clusters, and the entirety of the observable universe. The Big Bang theory forms the basis of my discussion. This theory relies on astronomical data that has been meticulously gathered from observatories around the world. It is also grounded in recent advances in particle physics that enhance our understanding of the fundamental nature of matter. Research is far from being complete.
