Product details
The goal is to create a vehicle that minimizes consumption, with optimization being the practical approach. In recent years, the automotive industry has achieved initial successes through the optimization of existing vehicle and drive concepts, but these have not yet reached the ultimate goal of reducing overall fuel consumption. A quantum leap towards extremely fuel-efficient automobiles is only possible through the combination of significantly lighter vehicle concepts and intelligent drive technology. The author describes what potential pathways could look like, which partial goals have been achieved, and which are attainable. He, as an engineer, advocates for realistic concepts tailored to user behavior and has researched the possibilities at the renowned Wuppertal Institute. Today, the author is actively researching issues related to Life Cycle Management in Stuttgart and advises, among others, the automotive industry.
