The work demonstrates how a naive understanding of "world" fails to account for the complexity of modern sciences. It provides a theoretical framework in which the interdisciplinary questions of psychology, neuroscience, biology, and quantum physics can be understood without leading to aporia. In this way, the author contributes to a proper understanding of foundational issues such as the relationship between body and mind, brain and consciousness, or the localization of physical objects in space and time. The crucial aspect is the respective reference frame that must be considered: epistemologically different worlds (Epistemological Different Worlds, abbreviated as EDWs) help to refer hypertrophic concepts (pseudo-worlds) of a "real world" back to their respective limits.
