Product details

Around 1995, a group psychotherapy was developed primarily for the treatment of psychotic disorders in all phases and manifestations. It incorporates essential elements from art therapy, movement and dance therapy, hypnotherapy, and storytelling. It has been continuously improved and expanded for the treatment of depressive, manic, and borderline patients. This interdisciplinary, diagnosis-crossing, hypno- and depth-psychologically oriented form of therapy is called Fantasy Therapy. This manual presents the theoretical foundation and methodological structure of Fantasy Therapy, the practical approach to it, as well as its context in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The method is fundamentally experience- and expression-oriented; its effects can be best understood within the connectivity model for psychoses.
