It is the merit of Professor Günter K. Krieglstein that he translated the globally recognized standard work on glaucoma by M. Bruce Shields into German and adapted it to the conditions of the German-speaking region. The Shields/Krieglstein edition therefore offers more than just a translation of an American textbook classic: it meets the needs of a German-speaking audience and is also enriched with more extensive visual material.
