Almost no mathematical background is required, making the book highly recommendable even for interested non-mathematicians. Ambitious and fearless readers will find references to further literature in the very worthwhile notes at the end of the book, which will allow them to delve deeper into mathematical aspects. A beautiful book, with no real competition in the German market, and offered at a reasonable price.
