This book demonstrates, through numerous carefully selected examples, how various construction tasks can be practically solved. The first part addresses beam supports on two and multiple columns with different loads. It also includes the fundamentals for the calculations in the second part. Many tasks are solved both numerically and graphically, as the graphical solution allows for an easy verification of the calculations. The second part solves various construction tasks from building practice, applying the methods outlined in the first part. In almost all examples, the maximum moments are calculated based on the occurring loads.
