In today's globalized world, small and medium-sized enterprises must increasingly generate innovations to survive in highly competitive markets in the long term. Organizational incentive systems have a particularly significant impact on the development of innovations. Based on theories from psychology and sociology, Patrick Krell analyzes the effect of intangible rewards on the individual intrapreneurial behavior of employees. Additionally, the influence of employees' individual creativity is examined as a mediating variable. The research findings are based on surveys of middle and upper management employees.
