When I pick up a new book, I always read the conclusion first, as I have found that even in difficult books, conclusions are usually drawn that are easy to read, giving me a first impression of the content. Naturally, I expect my readers to do the same! This book even provides an opportunity to generalize the method. After the reader has skimmed through Chapter 14, they should preferably read Chapters 5, 2, 13, and 10, or at least some of them (in this or another order), before diving into a thorough reading. The crucial point is that the reader will find evidence at the appropriate places in the other chapters; and as we all know, all evidence that is worth anything is necessarily difficult. Of course, it is good that there is evidence, but I believe.
