Product details

The present work primarily deals with technical copper and copper alloys, where the copper content predominates over the other alloying components. Although copper is a very old and widely used metal, there are hardly any comprehensive writings in German literature on the technically most important copper alloys; instead, there is a large number of often very detailed monographs on individual issues. It is not the purpose of this book to address the metallurgy of copper alloys; however, the author considers it necessary and useful to provide a brief overview of metallurgical fundamentals at the beginning of the chapters on copper and copper alloys. These introductory sections have been selected and addressed with regard to the topic of the monograph. The specific sections aim to address the current state.
