This dissertation describes how a breathable mesostructure is created by adjusting the exposure strategy. The author investigates the influence of geometric parameters on air permeability, mechanical robustness, and thermal properties. As a concluding application, a compressed air ejection system for plastic injection molding tools is implemented. This system completely replaces the mechanical one and additionally offers a plagiarism protection feature. The book is of particular interest to scientists, practitioners, and designers involved in laser additive manufacturing.
