As emphasized by the term "guide," this document should not be understood as a textbook in the usual sense, but rather as a book that has emerged from practice and addresses fundamental questions regarding motion radiation that are frequently discussed. Thus, the usual historical references and the multitude of literature citations have been omitted. Only the sources of the illustrations are provided, unless they are from one of the authors. The character of this guide arises from the fact that motion radiation does not represent a fundamentally new medical problem, but rather the physical-technical solution to a given medical question. In this first volume, alongside fundamental physical and technical considerations that arise from the transition from standing field radiation.
