Engineers worldwide work daily with his formulas—whether it's about the hull of the "Alinghi" or the vibrations of the "Viaduc de Millau," the highest motorway bridge in the world. Yet, he was a person who loved bourgeois comfort and tranquility. This was not easy during the founding period of St. Petersburg amidst Russian imperial murders or in Berlin during the Silesian Wars. And it was even more challenging in the midst of a large group of children. The comic by Elena Pini (graphics) and Alice and Andreas K.
