This exercise book complements the well-established textbook "Machine Dynamics" by Dresig/Holzweissig and facilitates the understanding of machine dynamics. It offers a total of 70 problems covering all topics addressed in the textbook. For typical problem types, both analytical methods and modern software are presented for their solutions. Many problems provide real parameter values, but the solution methods and results can be generalized for larger classes of problems. The reader is supported with references to further literature. In the second edition, 10 new problems have been added, and numerous improvements have been made to the existing problems.
