The collection of tasks and the presented solution strategies provide extensive material for individualized support within a class or as a basis for cross-class working groups. Teachers are supported in addressing the wide-ranging talent and interest levels of an increasingly heterogeneous student body. The 300 tasks, with varying degrees of difficulty and different levels of abstraction, demonstrate that often just a few steps away from the usual teaching path are enough to formulate interesting tasks starting from grade 5, for which a small idea or trick is required for their solution. All tasks are solved in detail, sometimes in various ways and based on different prior knowledge.
