It covers particles and disperse systems, as well as their key interactions with the surrounding fluid (liquid/gas) and with each other (adhesion forces). Other topics include particle measurement technology, storage and flow of bulk materials, solid mixtures, stirring, and classification. Sections on property and process functions, product development, and additional topics have been completely revised. All chapters of the 3rd edition have been updated and include numerous examples and exercises with worked-out solutions.
