Medicine and Marketing: Fashion or More? Contradiction or Motivation for Change? This study, which was awarded the 1st Science Prize by the Society for Law and Politics in Healthcare, contributes to the question of where the boundary lies between desired patient information and the unwanted effects of advertising. It aims to outline the framework within which modern medical communication with patients must operate, focusing less on the traditional physician's perspective and more on the largely neglected patient perspective. The study is intended as a critical discussion contribution that aims to provoke thought, reconsideration, and further reflection. It is primarily directed at the legislative body shaping medical self-regulation and ultimately at each individual physician. The rights of patients are emphasized here.
