This qualitatively reconstructive empirical study shows that the constructions of 'disability' and 'normality' in their manifestations depend on the action orientations of early childhood education professionals. In particular, professional experiences and the role of the respective early childhood educator were identified as significant. The findings of the study indicate that inclusive education in early childhood can only unfold when the structures of daycare centers and pedagogical actions are interconnected.
