Product details
Hybrid financing forms such as program mezzanine have received little attention in research so far. Karsten Nohtse examines this financing form, which was granted to German companies from 2004 to 2007. The author identifies characteristic features of these companies and analyzes the follow-up financing that is due after a seven-year term. His results empirically demonstrate for the first time the reasons for taking on program mezzanine as well as insights into follow-up financing.
