The book addresses investigation and testing methods for all paper fiber materials (pulp, wood materials, recycled paper fibers) and the products made from them: paper, cardboard, and pasteboard. It aids in the identification of paper fiber materials and additives (morphology, structure, and surface) using light and electron microscopy, as well as in the technological testing and comparative evaluation of various paper fiber materials. The second volume of this multi-volume work continues the tradition of the well-known Korn/Burgstaller: Handbook for Materials Testing, Volume IV: Paper and Pulp Testing.
