The authors investigate how other countries in Europe deal with psychosocial stressors, particularly in terms of workplace stress prevention. Using a qualitative research approach, they analyze the practice of risk assessment in four countries (Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Spain). Expert interviews at the inter-company level and company case studies are used to describe procedures, identify similarities and differences, and derive factors that facilitate implementation.
