This book introduces and visualizes the fundamental concepts and phenomena of quantum mechanics. Computer graphics are used to illustrate the initially unfamiliar abstract terms of this field. In particular, comparisons with classical mechanics and wave optics are drawn upon. Graphics of many examples help to convey an intuition for quantum mechanical processes. More than 80 computer-generated videos related to the book are compiled in a YouTube channel and can be easily accessed via QR codes in the book. Exciting topics explained for physics students and future teachers of physics or chemistry include: light waves, matter waves, wave packets, the Schrödinger equation, probability interpretation, quantum mechanics in one dimension: scattering, bound states, motion in a potential, coherent and squeezed states.
