The publication addresses the optimization of a laundry facility in terms of its resource efficiency. Resources include human labor, the turnover of chemicals and water, as well as energy consumption. The fundamentals of laundry technology and the scientific methods employed form the basis for the exemplary implementation of a resource-efficient laundry. This implementation takes place in four pilot projects that tackle various current challenges in laundry technology.
