The completely revised complete work on Rietschel Room Climate Technology is the continuation of the Rietschel Guide, first published in 1893, for calculating and designing ventilation and heating systems. The fundamentally changed structure, with an expansion and deepening of the fundamentals as well as a stronger focus on an integrated treatment of the building and its climate control systems, are important features of the 16th edition. Volume 2 addresses issues of air conditioning and indoor air technology. Uniform approaches to managing all types of room loads enable comprehensive concepts, particularly regarding optimal energy use. Modern methods for energy assessment, optimization of systems, and energy consumption measurement are explained theoretically and illustrated with practical examples.
