This standard textbook on signal transmission is now in its 12th edition. The didactically well-conceived and proven textbook provides an introduction to the fundamentals of signal and system theory, including stochastic methods (Part A), as well as the principles of information transmission (Part B). New in the 12th edition are a number of updates and additions in Part B, allowing for an even more detailed understanding of the transmission methods of current communication technology systems, such as LTE. In particular, the sections on OFDM and MIMO have been revised in this regard. Exercises on advanced problems, including detailed solutions, complete the book.
