In the context of societal change due to migration and the accompanying reconstruction and reevaluation of questions regarding political and social justice, both political education and social work face new challenges that are interdependent and closely intertwined. Social work can no longer function without political education when it comes to facilitating and organizing participation in a migration society. In internationally recognized definitions, social work is committed to the principles of human rights and social justice. Conversely, political education must adopt a more accessible approach and utilize the practices and settings of social work to reach those excluded from participation. This volume continues the current discourses and concepts.
