The focus of this book is on stakeholder management and sustainability reporting as central areas of sustainability management. Reporting serves to inform stakeholders about strategies, initiatives, goals, and results concerning ecological, social, and economic claims. Professional reporting standards require documentation of stakeholder consideration, which in turn has implications for the aforementioned report contents (sustainability strategies, initiatives, goals, and results).
