Janine Müller examines the subjective experiences of trainees in the nursing care of dying and deceased individuals from multiple perspectives within the context of practical health and nursing training. To collect data, four guideline-based episodic interviews were conducted with third-year nursing trainees and practical instructors from a palliative care unit. Based on these findings, appropriate recommendations for theoretical and practical training are derived.
