This book is primarily aimed at students in environmental science programs, as well as physicists, chemists, and biologists who wish to explore and deepen their understanding of environmental topics. The book is divided into three sections, providing an introduction to environmental physics, environmental chemistry, and conservation biology, while conveying foundational knowledge in these sub-disciplines. To address the complexity of today's environmental issues, this book brings together the current state of knowledge from various scientific disciplines on central themes of environmental discussion and illustrates them with selected examples. Possible solutions to problems are presented. The book is part of an interdisciplinary textbook series on the study of environmental sciences and was developed through the collaboration of various instructors at the university.
