We humans are living longer. Residents in senior facilities are currently still predominantly female, but an increasing number of men are also moving into care facilities. The demand for meaningful activities for male residents poses a significant challenge for many staff members: What does the "male" world look like for the generation currently living in senior facilities? How can men, with and without dementia, be integrated into daily care routines and motivated to participate in social group activities? This book aims to raise awareness and familiarize readers with the male experience in order to provide meaningful forms of engagement.
