This work was submitted to the Faculty of Law at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel as a dissertation in the summer semester of 1993 and was awarded the prize of the Association of Kiel Doctors of Law. It addresses issues of international economic law, which is subject to constant change. Notably, the conclusion of the Uruguay Round of GATT in December 1993 was able to be taken into account before publication.
