It examines two central themes: on one hand, it analyzes how educators can shape learning processes, with an emphasis on learners and educational outcomes. On the other hand, it highlights how educators learn to design educational products, processes, and experiences. The book aims to develop a deeper understanding of how learning can be designed both in the context of instructional design and in global learning environments. This perspective shifts the semantics of the field by moving the focus from educators and information to learners, demonstrating how new and established technologies can be utilized by educators. The work is the result of a research symposium sponsored by the Association for Educational Communications and Technology.
