Practical manual for back school course leaders and teachers on the so-called "New Back School," which refers to new guidelines adopted in 2006 by the Confederation of German Back Schools. The newly formulated goals and content of the back school are presented in detail, with a focus on practical application and linked to the relevant theoretical background knowledge. A new feature compared to previous back school books is the detailed presentation of the eight practical modules of the New Back School, illustrated with many concrete practical examples. A new emphasis is placed on the intensive skill development of course leaders in action, effect, and transfer knowledge. Additionally, concrete suggestions for games, exercises, and approaches, as well as templates for visual teaching aids such as slides and cards, are provided.
